In another example of do-gooders run amok, the Baltimore City School district has implemented "Meatless Mondays", a day in which the school will only serve meatless dishes such as "cheese sandwich or cheese lasagna and a bowl of mixed vegetables or broccoli".  Who are they kidding, no kid (or adult) for that matter wants to eat a bowl of mixed vegetables for lunch.  The usual suspects like PETA, Paul McCartney and others are cheering this on, meanwhile the meat industry has written letters of protest to the school district to no avail.   The Forgotten Man will watch this one closely as I expect that the next story will be about the kids at these schools getting detention for sneaking cookies, candy and beef jerky into school so they can have something decent to eat.  I'm also thinking of setting up a convenience store near each school,.  This way I can sell cupcakes, brownies and other sugary snacks to the starving kids after they leave school.  Just another unintended consequence of the do-gooders, or shall we call them meatheads?
