Naivete
The Forgotten Man has been commenting on President Obama's naivete for many months, particularly his assertions that the policies of President Bush including establishing Guantanamo Bay as a prison is a recruiting tool for terrorists around the world. He has consistently apologized for alleged sins of our country under the assumption that world would look better at us and thus acquiesce to peace. Charles Krauthammer debunks that here in his column about President Obama's obsessions with Gitmo. After categorizing the alleged grievances against the west by al-Qaeda, Krauthammer asks, "Imagine that Guantanamo were to disappear tomorrow, swallowed in a giant tsunami. Do you think there'd be any less recruiting for al-Qaeda in Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, London?" Of course not, once again showing the naivete of our President. The Forgotten Man will continue to pray that he realizes the error of his views and changes course before it's to late.
